Data Services Processing Tips
The BCC Data Services team has developed the following tips to help you streamline your Data Services job processing, and secure quicker turnaround times:
- CASS™ encode addresses before sending your list for NCOALink® processing, and review the data for any importing/data issues.
- Do not limit the number of months for which COA data is accepted below 18 months.
- While reviewing NCOALink job "Data Quality," make sure all name, company and address information that will be used on your labels is included for processing. If any additional data is supplied on the labels, the USPS could potentially flag "COA not updated by mailer" during Move Update Validation testing.
- Manually correcting and CASS encoding after NCOALink processing gives the USPS an opportunity to find additional moves.
- Always review NCOALink results and remove the "bad" addresses such as Z4 and Return codes 23, 26, 27 & 28.
The dedicated BCC Data Services team is ready to assist you with address correction issues. e-mail Data Services or call (800) 337-0372 with any questions.
